Our Refill Policy

• Prescriptions are filled and refilled through our electronic health record (EHR). You are responsible for ensuring you have enough medications to last until your next visit. 
• Plan Ahead! Let your doctor know during your appointment if you need refills. This is the best way to avoid running out of medications. 
• If you did not discuss refills during your appointment you may request a refill via the patient portal. 
• If you have not had an appointment in appointment in the last 3 months we will not be able to refill medications. Some doctors may require more frequent appointments. 
• Please allow 5 business day for our doctors to honor your refill request. Any requests made after hours or on weekends will be addressed the following business day.

Our policy requires all patients be seen at least every 3 months for all medications. Federal law does not allow physicians to prescribe “controlled” substances unless patients have been seen within three months, and thus this DEA policy is completely out of our control. For this reason, it is imperative that you plan accordingly, well in advance, for any foreseeable appointment scheduling changes. 

Unfortunately, there is a national shortage on ADHD medication. We  are not able to call the pharmacy to see if your medication is in stock.  If your medication is not in stock , we can try another pharmacy near you.
